Nokia has unveiled it's first device since its sold its mobile division to Microsoft. The new N1 tablet boasts a 7.9 inch screen, 2048 x 1536 resolution and is 6.9mm thick with a single piece of anodized aluminum design.
The device which is similar to the Apple iPad mini 3 uses the new Android 5.0 Lollipop and weighs an impressive 318grams making it lighter than the iPad mini 3. It will use a 2GB Ram, 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, a 32G storage capacity, an 8.0 mega pixel primary (back) camera and a 5.0 mega pixel secondary (front) camera.

Nokia N1 will be using the Nokia Z launcher which lets the user write out letters on the screen and gives a list of apps and contacts that changes based on where you are and what you are doing. A user can also scribble on the home screen to see what is installed on the phone or search the internet through Google suggestion.

The device will be built by Foxconn of China, the company that also manufactures the Apple iPhone series and Nokia plans to launch the device in China for a price of $249 before taxes are deducted in February . The device will be have 2 color options, white or black.
Note: Nokia still retains the right to use the Nokia name for other devices but not for phones.
