Boko Haram kill 10 soldiers and 35 hunters

An improvised explosive device (IED) placed along the Bulanbulin Tasha and Damboa road has been detonated by the Boko Haram sect in Adamawa State after an ambush by the sect that killed at least 10 soldiers and 35 hunters in Mararaba near Mubi.
The combined squad of military personnel and armed civilians were on a patrol of the area when the ill-fated incident occurred.

A spokesperson for the Nigerian Army confirmed the incident but said the actual number of casualties was yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile the BBC reports that a 24 hour curfew has been imposed in the area to try and curb further hostilities in the area.
